Nanocore grants partners the right to use its LASSO materials exclusively within defined product areas and industrial applications.
LASSO materials are compatible with common thermoplastic and thermoset processing methods, such as extrusion, injection molding and infusion molding. This enables the partner to adopt LASSO materials without retooling, process redesign, or other substantial changes to the production.
The first licensee in each market segment may obtain exclusive access to the LASSO materials, giving early movers a head-start by the ability to introduce new products without competition.
With access to LASSO materials, partners can make stronger, lighter, and more durable products - improving product performance, recyclability, and often overall cost efficiency in production.
The LASSO technology is protected by patents in 26 countries outside the EU - including major markets like the United States, China, Japan and India - and an additional 16 countries within the EU.
The technology is designed for scalability, reliability, and performance across industries – from automotive and aerospace to sporting goods, 3D printing and renewable energy.

Nanocore collaborates with select partners through co-development programs designed to accelerate the partners’ adoption of LASSO material technology.
Our approach adapts to each partner’s technical and material capabilities, starting with early evaluation and material development, and continuing through pilot testing/prototyping, and the transition to industrial production.
Nanocore works with partners to refine the LASSO materials, so that the final composite material aligns with the product’s defined performance targets.
Throughout this process, partners draw on Nanocore’s full expertise, including know-how, materials knowledge and synthetic chemistry capabilities.
Once the material has been developed to meet the required performance characteristics, pilot-scale batches are prepared for initial evaluation. Nanocore supports this stage with documentation, material data and technical guidance, allowing the prototype material to be assessed within a realistic production context.
Our technology-transfer process helps take the prototype material into industrial production.
When the developed LASSO formulation has been shown to integrate reliably with the partner’s existing industrial production process, Nanocore transfers the formulation and relevant know-how to the partner’s preferred material supplier(s).
Throughout the process, our focus is to enable the partner to operate the technology independently. We support a clear and efficient handover, and step aside when the partner and their suppliers can manage the LASSO materials without our involvement.
